This year, the National Juneteenth Heirs of Excellence Foundation has reached new heights in our mission to uplift, educate, and empower urban communities. Thanks to your generous support, we've:

Empowered 60+ youth through mentorship and life-skills training through the #DefyTheOdds program, including training national contestants and Staff during required training workshops.

Awarded $3,500 in scholarship awards, opening doors to higher education for underserved students.

Hosted 3 cultural enrichment events, celebrating Black history and amplifying community pride.

Mobilized 10 volunteers, contributing over 500 hours of service to our programs and events.

Launched the new Legacy 'N Motion Initiative, mentoring young Black men to become leaders in their communities.

Meet Sunshine, one of our #DefyTheOdds participants and National Title holder, who now attends Norfolk State University on a full scholarship. With the skills and confidence she gained from our program, Sunshine plans to start her own business while inspiring the next generation of changemakers.
